Mount Calvary Family,

We all have desires. A desire for rest. A desire for peace. A desire for food. Did you know that God created desire? Often we think of our desires as bad or evil. Desire can be bad, if it leads us away from God and His plan for us. However, desire can be good when it comes from a heart that strives to please God. What do you want God to do in your life? What do you want from the Lord today? May God give us the  desire of David from Psalm 27:4 which says, “One thing I have desired of the Lord, that I will seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in His temple.” Let’s keep our eyes on Jesus and He will keep our desires pure as we live to please Him in all we do!
